SpiceJet is one of the new players in domestic flight Sector of India. Spice Jet Airlines started as low cost flight carrier in 2005. SpiceJet was initially known as Royal Airways which was later renamed as ModiLuft. SpiceJet made a revolution in Indian domestic flight sector by offering Rs 99 Rupees tickets for a total of 9000 seats. Soon after that Spicejet flight tickets were priced at Rs.999.
Spicejet operates flights from four hubs in India. These four hubs are Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad. Out of these four flight hubs Delhi serve as head quarter of Spicejet Airlines. Focus cities for Spicejet airlines are Chennai and Bangalore.
