MakeMyTrip.com Domestic has introduced Virtual Hotel Tours, a category-leading innovation, for hotel buyers on the website.
MakeMyTrip.com Domestic tool has been developed to assist travellers in making their hotel selections online, in response to user feedback.
MakeMyTrip.com Domestic virtual tour is a streaming video of all touch-points of the hotel for visitors – reception, coffee shop, rooms, washrooms and hotel surroundings. This innovative tool will enable users to make an informed decision while booking their hotels online and avoid any surprises later. It will also help mobilise a significant section of the traffic on the website to make their hotel purchase decision online. The service is currently available for 85 hotels in India. These cover a total of 30 cities.
MakeMyTrip.com Domestic plans to expand this portfolio to offer over 500 virtual tours by the end of this year.

Elaborating on this offering, Rajnish Kapoor, Chief Innovation Officer,
